James Duffy

James has been a regular for Cheshire since 2005 and is currently captain of Hyde in the Cheshire County ECB Premier League. James has gone past 6,000 first team runs for Hyde in the 2009 season.

James works as a full time cricket development coach for the Cheshire Cricket Board.

James Crosthwaite

NSW Wicket Keeper and batsman.
Brother of Victorian wicketkeeper Adam Crosthwaite, James has already carved out a reputation for himself as a wicketkeeper, having represented both the ACT and Scotland. Looking for an opportunity to further his career in Sydney, James has already shown his talents with the bat scoring 477 runs at 34.07 in Grade cricket in season 2007-08 as well as claiming 34 dismissals. Along with Peter Nevill, he will provide depth in the RTA SpeedBlitz Blues wicketkeeping department for 2008-09.



Matt Higginbottom

Derbyshire CCC & Cheadle Hulme CC
Matt has been a regular right through the Derbyshire age group teams and has in 2009 progressed to become a regular in the 2nd XI. Matt is also the only person to win Junior Cricketer of the Year twice from the High Peak Cricket Society, in 2006 and again in 2008.

Matt Dawson

Cheshire CCC & Bramhall CC
Matt Dawson is currently the wicket keeper for Cheshire and played at Lords in the Minor Counties Championship final in 2007. Matt also opens the batting for Bramhall CC in the Cheshire County League and is on course to score 1,000 runs in the 2009 season.

Matt has worked on the Andrew Flintoff Cricket Academy in the summer of 2009.



Mark Bennett

Cheshire Development XI & Heaton Mersey CC
Mark has been a regular for Cheshire throughout the age groups and is now a member of the Devlopment XI. He is also 1st team captain at Heaton Mersey in the Cheshire County League, which at 18 makes him one of the youngest captains ever in the county.



Andrew Jackson
